Public Works and Government Services Canada is a common service agency to the federal government. The Real Property Services Branch provides productive working environments for public servants on behalf of the government of Canada. It manages a diverse portfolio of office space and other general purpose property. It provides professional and technical services to federal departments and agencies for the acquisition, management, operation, maintenance, construction and disposal of real property. It is the custodian for $6.8 billion worth of federal real property holdings. It houses 160,000 public servants in 2,500 locations in Canada.
